TP-Link TL-MR3420 Configutation With Evo Nitro

















TP-Link TL-MR3420 Configutation
You will find 5 Ethernet ports behind the Tp-Link TL-MR3420
router.For TP-Link TL-MR3420 Configurations, you must connect your
PC/laptop’s ether cable to any of the Blue ports of Tp-Link
TL-MR3420.Your system will automatically optain an Ip address as it has
the DHCP Server enabled by default.If you donot get an IP, you must set a
manual Ip in order to access its Web Config console.The default Ip to
access its web config console is 192.168.1.1,you can also see the login
details behind the Tp-Link TL-MR3420.
Enter the username and password which is “admin” by default.Click on
Quick setup,you will see the four options to configure the internet
access.3G Prefered:if you want to use your 3G Connection as a primary
internet source and WAN/DSL as a secondary.
3G Only:if you want to use only 3G service and don’t want to use WAN/DSL.
WAN Prefered:if you want to use your WAN/DSL Connection as a primary internet source and 3G as a secondary.
WAN Only:if you want to use only WAN/DSL service and don’t want to use
3G.Select the option which best suits you,here i will choose 3G prefered
 and click next.


Now enter your 3G modems details,here We have an EVO connection and
it is powered by PTCL so PTCL is not listed in the ISP list,so i will
enter the credentials manually.
Check “Set the Dial Number and APN manually” Set authentication type to
Auto, Enter Dial Number “#777″.Leave the APN field Blank.
Enter Username : vwireless@ptcl.com , Password: ptcl (Username and password is case sensitive) Click Next.



Now enter your WAN details,(if you are using the 3g only, you will not see these settings.)                           
If your DSL modem dials the username and password itself, choose Dynamic IP.and click next.



 Now Set your wireless settings.


Set wireless radio to Enable.
Enter your network name in Wireless network name field.
Region: pakistan.
Channel: Set the channel which is not already used by other devices in the range.
Mode: 11bgn Mixed
Channel Width: Auto
Max Tx Rate: 300 Mbps
Enter your security code:
Click on WPA-PSK and enter security coed in the PSK Password.
Click next and reboot.


After reboot click on network > LAN and change your IP Address to
192.168.x.1 (“x” can be any numeric digit but not the same as your DSL’s
 IP e.g:192.168.2.1)

Click Save.It will reboot the router and next time you will access the router by the new changed IP address.

Now Plug in your 3G modem in the USB Port and DSL Line in the blue Port.

You are done guys.You have completed TP-Link TL-MR3420 Configurations.Enjoy your happy surfing through TP-Link TL-MR3420.
